​Weddings by Epic is my passion brought into reality. I get complete joy knowing my purpose in life is helping couples achieve everything that they envision for their big day and then some. Our goal is to remind you this day is FUN and EXCITING!
My insides come ALIVE being able to be the one couples can rely on to have their best interest during such a stressful time. I truly can listen to everything my clients want and execute it with SEAMLESS design and implementation.
Something my peers makes fun of me for- I cry at EVERY wedding I'm a part of because it's like we become family!

I have had the privilege of being a wedding planner with Weddings By Epic for roughly seven years. I started while completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, GO DAWGS!
When I am not partying at a wedding, I enjoy spending time with my soon to be husband Davis and our french bulldog, Pauley. I am a complete Disney nerd that will happily take a three day weekend in my off season to visit the happiest place on earth. If the weather is warm, I can be found at a football tailgate in the fall or at the lake in the summer.
Being a wedding planner has transformed my life in such a positive way. I get to meet families and friends every weekend, and celebrate love. My coworkers have become family. Who else can say they get to party every week for their job?
It is truly a fun roller coaster of a life. I wouldn't have it any other way.​​​​

With over nine years of experience in wedding planning and a background in event planning since 2013, I bring passion and expertise to every celebration.
I pride myself on being a logistics queen, ensuring that every detail runs smoothly while keeping the energy high. Known for my ability to keep everyone in line, I’m also the first one out on the dance floor when the music hits—because what’s a wedding without a little fun?
When I’m not creating unforgettable moments for couples, you can find me belting out my favorite tunes at karaoke or line dancing at local breweries. Let’s make your special day extraordinary!

Jessica Hurst

I've worked for Weddings by Epic for 3 years now. I started as an Assistant Planner, then moved to Event Manager, and finally joined the team full time as the Design Manager.
I not only get to make sure your special day is beyond your wildest dreams, but I get to meet you beforehand at our in person mock ups where we pop a bottle of champagne and make some FUN decisions regarding your special day.
When I'm not working, you can find me on TikTok, on a spontaneous trip with friends, or cozied up reading or watching one of my favorite shows.
I love that my job combines my love for creativity and my love for people in love. Can't wait to meet you and make your special day EPIC!

Everybody say LOVE!! I’ve been blessed to work with Weddings by Epic for 4 years and it’s truly been a blast! I love meeting new couples and enjoy making their magical visions of their wedding day come true!
When I’m not working a wedding, I enjoy spending quality time with my boyfriend, Matthew, and our 3 fur babies: Sully, Leo, and Kiasi. You can also catch me at the best Mexican restaurants of Atlanta, a Caribbean event, or the nearest karaoke bar.
Being a wedding planner and event manager has been an amazing experience, and one I can say never gets old!​​​

Congratulations on your engagement, how exciting! I started my career in the Atlanta hospitality industry after graduating from Kennesaw State University (Go Owls!) in 2013. Over the last 10+ years I have acquired a variety of experience in the world of events, including off-premise catering, corporate & social event design and event planning/management. Becoming a wedding planner has always been a dream of mine, I am beyond grateful to be a part of the WBE team and can truly say that I love what I do. Let the planning begin!
I am a very proud, and slightly obsessed, dog mom of two (Terra & Huckleberry). When I am not detailing your wedding, you can probably find me on a pontoon boat in Lake Lanier, playing at the dog park with my pups, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, at Disney with my two precious nieces, or tackling my newest craft obsession.
Carla Rivera

Hi!! My name is Carla Rivera and I am the floral leader/ manager of the floral creation department of the wonderful floral company Weddings by Epic! I am truly a lover of all floral design! Most of my knowledge it’s self-taught, creativity has run through my veins since I was a child!
​
Another of my passions is makeup! I love FX makeup!! The creation of scary designs is my fave! Halloween is my favorite day of the year!
Although I also enjoy beauty makeup, I like dressing up from head to toe and hanging out with my friends! Fine restaurants, good movies, chill picnics in the park, and a Sunday cookout with friends and family are my weaknesses.
